Brentwood Bearcats
IV.1

Let's go West!

Geech - I'm probably feeling like you did in 2040. I'm right with you at the top of the standings but a bit skeptical that'll it last.

My offense has been quite a bit better this year without much change to personnel, so not sure if that'll last all year. And at 12 games over .500, my +26 run differential makes me think we're just squeaking by with some close wins and this pace isn't sustainable.
Either way, should be a fun 2nd half of the year! This division is quite competitive.

Well, inter-division play is complete for 2043, and I'm sorry to say that East more than made up the difference in the second half. They beat the West with a .508 winning percentage, but at least we kept it close.

Santa Clemente is tied with Brentwood for the best overall performer in ID play, each with a .550 winning percentage. The Turtles maintained their .533 play, which actually matches the best record among East times. Their strong performance in the second half seems to be driven by a broad selection of teams, rather than just one or two.

Here are the complete results:

Congrats to San Luis Obispo and Knoxville on winning the Divisions this season.

I enjoyed my one year foray into the League IV level. My pitching and defense held up (5th in Runs Allowed) but my offense was missing (dead last in Runs Scored). The bottom of my lineup was the problem.

Hopefully I'll be back in 2045.

Thank you! This is a big milestone for our team, whatever the outcome of the playoff series. We've never won a division in level 4 or higher in franchise history, including before I owned them.

Just want to say I'm happy to be in IV.6 this year, and looking forward to seeing what the competition is like around here.

It's been my quietest offseason ever with the Falcons, although I'm hoping I found something in Tejada. There are some guys I like out there, but it's getting harder and harder to make roster space. Good problem to have I guess, but it IS a problem!

Good luck to everyone this season!

Also Eric, nice update about your 2046 escapades with Brentwood last year!

I was too busy with the “3 dog fight” going down in the East to notice your mid season managerial corrections.

Looks like IV.6 is going to be another tough division assignment this season. I've gone 8-8 so far with a +26 RD, and right not I'm in a demotion slot.

Message received, LL.IV doesn't mess around!
