October 6th, 2026 - Jacobins Capture the Crown!
Pierre and Oxnard met in the championship series, and the Jacobins left no doubt, taking the title four games to one. Oxnard had a chance to extend the series in Game 5 at Oxnard Yard and jumped out to an early 3–0 lead, knocking Pierre starter J. Rosas out after just one inning. The Pierre bullpen answered by holding the Sunsets to one run over the next six innings. Meanwhile, the Jacobins offense erupted for six runs in the 3rd, added one in the 7th, then put the game away with a seven-run 9th for a 14–6 win. Pierre piled up 23 hits, led by Hector Sanchez going 5-for-6 and Sergio Perez scoring three times with a home run. Pedro Valentín picked up the win to go 2–0 in the postseason. Player of the Game honors went to third baseman Arnold Feng, who went 4-for-6 with a double, a home run, and four RBI. Congratulations to Philliesworld and the Pierre Jacobins, Season 75 champions of the Legends League!
October 4th, 2026 - Legends League Playoffs
Will the Sunsets shine brightest, or will the Jacobins spark a revolution? The Oxnard Sunsets (97–63, +151 RD, 107.2 PI) will challenge the Pierre Jacobins (97–63, +162 RD, 104.6 PI) for the Season 75 Legends title. It’s a showdown of offensive firepower versus pitching prowess: Oxnard scored 888 runs and stole 173 bases, led by J. Forrest (.311, 23 HR, 103 RBI), while Pierre’s stingy staff posted a 3.26 ERA, with D. Troutman (1.47 ERA) and closer J. Castillo (47 saves, 2.50 ERA) making late-inning rallies a tall order. The Jacobins pack a punch of their own, with M. Whitson’s 38 homers and 138 RBI leading the charge. Will Oxnard’s bats and speed overwhelm Pierre’s pitching, or will the Jacobins shut down the Sunsets and claim the crown? As always, anything can happen in a short playoff series. September 21st, 2026 - Panthers Pounce!
The Pontiac Panthers swept the Cup Championship Series, rallying late to win the opener 3-2 before outlasting the Costa Mesa Braves in a thrilling 7-6 finale. In the decisive second game, Player of the Game center fielder Rubén Carrillo led the way with 3 hits, 2 runs scored, a home run, and 2 RBIs. Congratulations to ccdiorite and the Pontiac Panthers on an impressive Cup championship victory!
September 18th, 2026 - Cup Final!
The Cup Final approaches, and this season’s matchup features two teams from very different levels of the Broken Bat world. The Pontiac Panthers (III.3, PI 102.1) will take on the Costa Mesa Braves (V.9, PI 103.5), with Costa Mesa looking to complete an impressive run from the lower leagues all the way to the Cup title. Costa Mesa features a strong pitching staff and some heavy hitters, but how will they fare against League III competition? We’re about to find out. All signs point to an exciting Cup Final. Best of luck to both Pontiac and Costa Mesa as they battle for the Cup title!

October 8th, 2026 - Switcheroo!!! - Bountiful Bikers
Recently, the Bountiful Bikers lost to the Danbury Bobcats in the V.5 League Championship! After that, Owner HookEmHorns, and Manager Billy Joe Jay, had some talking to do about roster changes! And they decided to cut the 2-Time All-Star Pitcher, Greg Fountain! Fountain was an amazing part of the Bikers organization, but he was getting to that age of starting to go downhill! So, the 32-year old from North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and the University of South Carolina is now a free agent on waivers! They then drafted 23-year old Ivan Kozhevnikov from St. Petersburgh, Russia! The Russian already has 10 potential and is on the AAA team, the Montezuma Creek Aztecs! The lefty has a velocity of 9, and is only 23! This shows he will be a big help for the Bikers, next season! Championship, here they come!
October 6th, 2026 - Bad year but remarkable season for The Hammer - Irvine Infernos
Arturo Enriquez slugged his 200th home run as an Inferno with a career high 35 this season, and scored 100 runs with an OBP of .302. His 129 RBI's this season challenged the 133 driven home by The Punisher just last season (The high in my tenure), his 203 hits are the second most, behind Hodson in 2057 and overall hes been an All-Star 6 of the last 7 seasons, with 3 A-L with a possibly a fourth when those teams are determined at the end of the week, along with 2 gold gloves. Unfortunately a terrible season by most of my pitchers squandered his triumphant performace - electriceel883
October 5th, 2026 - The dreaded rebuild is finally here - Pembroke Pines Gators
With the disappointing end to the 2075 season comes the unescapable realization that the Gators are due for a rebuild and reset. After a long period of competitive baseball, supported by several generations of star players, the time has come to pull the plug on this era of Gators baseball. We will be saying goodbye to some veteran players in the coming days. Our hope is that this is a quick rebound and we can once again resume our collective race towards the ultimate championship.
