May 3rd, 2026 - Legends League Playoffs
Playoff time is back! This year’s matchup features the Tombstone Pistoleros (#9 rank, 92–68, +158 run differential, 107.1 PI) taking on the Haverhill Halflings (#10 rank, 90–70, +90 run differential, 100.8 PI). On paper, these teams are closely matched—the Pistoleros notched a few more wins, while the Halflings appear to bring a slightly stronger combination of offense and pitching. As always, in a short series, anything can happen. Let the playoffs begin, and best of luck to both teams!
April 20th, 2026 - Rock You Like A Hurricane!
Like all great cup finals, the first two games between the Mesa Scorpions and the Augusta Trojans were split, setting the stage for a decisive third game. For Augusta, starting pitcher Marco “Marvelous” Pascual delivered a strong performance, allowing just one earned run. However, a costly seventh-inning error by shortstop Lorenzo “The Franchise” Chavez opened the door for five unearned runs. The rally was punctuated by a two-run homer from Mesa’s Alvin Ward, turning a 3–1 Trojans lead into a 7–3 deficit. Sabo and Zuniga struggled on the mound—Zuniga in particular giving up two runs in the eighth as Augusta closed the gap to 7–5. But Martín Olivares and Edgar Cantu came in to shut the door, securing the Cup Title for the Scorpions. Alvin Ward earned Cup MVP honors, blasting ten home runs and hitting .313 over the course of the tournament. Congratulations to Geraci15 and the Mesa Scorpions on a thrilling championship victory!
April 17th, 2026 - Cup Final!
The highly anticipated Cup Final takes place Monday, featuring a cross-country matchup between two top-rated teams. The 23rd-ranked Augusta Trojans (IV.6, PI 103.4) will face the 3rd-ranked Meas Scorpions (II.2, PI 102.5) in a battle for the title. Augusta appears to boast the stronger pitching staff—but is that simply a product of weaker competition? That question will be answered on Monday when they take on the Scorpions. All signs point to a thrilling final. Best of luck to both Augusta and Mesa.
