| Unreal is being 3 home runs away from doubling your opponents number (245 to 124). That'll win some games. | |||

| Thanks Mudcat! I feel the Dinos made a fair bit of progress figuring out the pitching side. It was a historic season for Waterloo in a number of ways. - Carlson reached 2332 hits. This puts him #1 Dinos all-time surpassing Lovato's 2269. (Carlson is also our all-time leader in games played with 2121). - Oh set a new single season RBI mark at 134. Norm Clarke's 130 had stood since 2019. Not bad given Oh actually lost his DH job vs. RHP for a stretch there mid-season. - Lund had an ironman season. - Vaught came up 2 HRs short of 30-30. No Dino has accomplished that. We had a couple nice surprises. - Tackett completely blew his opportunity to be our closer. Proctor came out of nowhere to own the job. I hadn't ever seen him in that role. He was one foot out the door when we gave him a shot at it. - Corvarrubias has a nice chunk of SI but we weren't expecting much from him. He had a lot of trouble with long balls in the minors. Somehow he had that under control in his rookie season. Became our second best high leverage guy after Elias. Might get some notice for RPotY. | Well done Mesa on the world series win. Too good for the Hitchhikers, we gave it our all but couldn't keep up in the final game. Great season for New Britain - had fun in league 2 and looking forward to our first stint in legends league after over 10 years playing Broken bat. Might even be 15 years |

| Thank you @El-jefe... Congrats to a great season @Favuz! A legends pennant in the league debut season is impressive to say the least. Pierre rode the back of strong bullpen performance and opportune offense through inter-league and held on just enough o stay ahead of very good Eden Prairie team in the last stretch of the season. Swanson was a key addition at the season mid-point to a line-up in desperate need of a lefty clean-up hitter. Worth every penny. Whitson had a career year, and was the motor that kept the offense from retro-grading to the usual Pierre offense's of the past. Whitson may be a dark horse for MVP but his bat avg. is most likely on the low side for the algo. For the record book Whitson tied for 8th on the single season HR list and tied for 5th on the single season RBI list. It's been some time since Pierre had a offensive contribution like this. This was Garcia's last season as a Jacobin. Garcia has been a gold glove staple at SS for a long time now, but his decline had a swift on-set and Legends pitching competition isn't kind to declining players. Thrilled to see him win a Legends championship in his sunset season. Reliever Troutman and Closer Castillo both followed there impressive rookie campaigns with as good or better sophomore seasons. Their success allowed the usual BP workhorse Valentin to cut back a little on his workload. See you all next season! |
