Mar 20 2039: GM & Mgr: Tensions are Running HIGH!!! - by bigcats on January 7th, 2019

After a disappointing year all-around in '38 and a predictable 5th place finish, Manager 'Bubba' Bergen is well aware his job is on the line. Bubba commented: "Well if that dillweed GM Bigcats would give me some real young talent to develop and use, the results would be different!" Ouch! I wouldn't want to be any of the developing talent in the minors right now...

"The Animal" Alonzo (veteran pitcher and unofficial captain of the team) said it more accurately: "The over-thirty-year-olds have under-performed the last two years and so that is how the team goes. We must turn it around this year and I will be the first! This will be my BEST year of my career or else I will retire outright!!!" Wow...bold statement for any player. I LIKE IT!!!
